For recording a log file, do as below:

Shut off the engine ignition. Create a file called YDEG.TXT with the following line included:

ENGINE_LOG = ON

Note that the given configuration is not saved in that memory på YDEG-04 and it will stop recording after the card is removed or when the NMEA 2000 network is shut down.

Insert the MicroSD card into the device and turn it off. on engine ignition. The device starts recording data to the MicroSD card and creates a file in the root folder named YDEGxxx.CAN, where xxx is a file number. The device starts recording to a new file each time the power to the engine network is turned on.
