Cyclops Marine's advanced wireless load sensing technology can now be integrated into Raymarine systems for all users who update to the operating system LightHouse HVAR 3.16.
Raymarine is launching a new version of its operating system, LightHouse HVAR 3.16, named after the Croatian island of Hvar. The update provides several new features, including wireless load sensing from Cyclops Marine, which improves both safety and performance for sailors.
Cyclops Marine was founded in 2018 to make advanced load sensing available to more than just racing sailors and superyachts. With the integration into LightHouse 3.16, both racing and recreational sailors can benefit from real-time data for rig load.
Cyclops Marine's sensors measure the load on the sailboat's rig and send data wirelessly to a Cyclops Marine Gateway below deck. This gateway connects to Raymarine Axiom™ displays, where the user can view static and dynamic load data from up to 50 sensors.
Gregoire Outters, General Manager at Raymarine: "With Cyclops Marine and new features in LightHouse 3.16, we give sailors full control and increased safety through real-time data for navigation and rig optimization."
