ICOM 81510, has a Black Box VHF with built-in AIS receiver and hailer output that is small and compact in size, can be installed hidden anywhere and is a good solution when space is limited. All functions, including DSC can be done from the CommandMic (HM-195) and the RF unit can be installed out of sight, up to 60 feet (18.3 m)* from the CommandMic (Two OPC-1541 extra cables are required for 60 feet installation.) .

VHF radio available in your favorite places
On the IC-M510BB, up to three CommandMic can be connected giving access to VHF radio and intercom functions in your favorite places. When using the intercom function, you can choose either one to all or one to one communication.

Integrated AIS receiver monitors the movements of other vessels
The integrated AIS receiver helps you find ships heading towards your boat and gives you a warning to avoid collisions. You can make an individual DSC call to a selected vessel from the AIS screens.

Two minute voice recording function for playback of last call

One-way hailer
The radio has a built-in 13W amplifier that increases the light output to an external hailer speaker . When you are connected to an external hailer speaker, you can monitor the radio traffic on the deck or, for example, the beach. You can also send out fog horn patterns from the hailer speaker.
