ICOM 81410, has a Black Box VHF that is small and compact in size, can be installed hidden anywhere and is a good solution when space is limited . All functions, including DSC can be done from the CommandMic (HM-195) and the RF unit can be installed out of sight, up to 60 feet (18.3 m)* from the CommandMic (Two OPC-1541 extra cables are required for 60 feet installation.) .

On the IC-M410BB, up to two CommandMic™ can be connected giving access to VHF radio and intercom functions in your favorite places .

The active noise reduction digitally removes background noise from both sending and receiving sound and provides clear communication in a noisy maritime environment.

With just one push of the emergency button, the built-in DSC (Digital Selective Calling) system can digitally transmit emergency information to the Coast Guard and/or other vessels. The DSC watch function continuously monitors the DSC channel (ch. 70) for increased safety and security.
One-way hailer
The radio has a built-in 13W amplifier that increases the light output to an external hailer speaker . When you are connected to an external hailer speaker, you can monitor the radio traffic on the deck or, for example, the beach. You can also send fog horn patterns from the hailer speaker.
