ICOM 81410, has a Black Box VHF that is small and compact in size, can be installed discreetly anywhere and is a good solution when space is limited. All functions, including DSC, can be performed from the CommandMic (HM-195) and the RF unit can be installed out of sight, up to 60 feet (18.3 m)* from the CommandMic (Two OPC-1541 extra cables are required for 60 feet installation.).

VHF radio available in your favorite locations
On the IC-M410BB, up to two CommandMic™ can be connected, providing access to VHF radio and intercom functions in your favorite locations.

Active Noise Cancelling
The active noise cancelling digitally removes background noise from both transmitting and receiving audio, providing clear communication in a noisy marine environment.

Built-in Class D DSC, emergency button can be a lifesaver in an emergency
With just one press of the emergency button, the built-in DSC (Digital Selective Calling) system can digitally transmit distress information to the coast guard and/or other vessels. The DSC watch function continuously monitors the DSC channel (Ch. 70) for increased safety and security.

One-way hailer
The radio has a built-in 13W amplifier that increases the light output to an external hailer speaker. When connected to an external hailer speaker, you can monitor radio traffic on deck or, for example, the beach. You can also send out foghorn patterns from the hailer speaker.
