VICTRON ENERGY SIN241251100, is a Sun inverter combines a sine wave inverter and a PWM solar charger in one housing. It is easy to install, with minimal wiring. Available in 12V or 24V version.

The inverter makes it possible to supply equipment in your home - which requires 230 VAC - by using "leisure" or "car" -batteries rated as 12 V or 24 V. The solar charger ensures that the batteries are charged with energy that has been harvested from your solar panels. The charging algorithm is programmable. The inverter and solar charger parameters can be read out via Bluetooth using the VictronConnect app. In addition, the inverter has a VE.Direct port for connection to a GX device or GlobalLink 520 for system monitoring.

Proven reliability
Full-wave and toroidal the transformer topology has proven to be reliable over many years. The inverters are protected against short circuit and overheating, whether due to overload or high
ambient temperature.

High starting power
Required to start loads such as current converters to LED lamps, light bulbs or electrical tools.

ECO mode
When the inverter is in ECO mode, it switches to standby when the load drops below a preset value. (min. load: 15 W). Once in standby mode, the inverter will turn on for shorter periods (adjustable, default: every 2.5 seconds). If the load exceeds a preset level, the inverter will remain on.

PWM solar charger
The solar charger ensures that the batteries are charged with energy that has been harvested from your solar panels. The charging algorithm is programmable.

Remote control on/off
Phoenix Inverter Control VE.Direct remote panel (not included) can be used to turn on or shut down the inverter remotely. Alternatively, an on/off remote switch can be connected to a two-pole connector or between the positive pole of the battery and the left contact of the two-pole connector.

Bluetooth
The inverter and solar charger parameters can be read and monitored via Bluetooth using the app VictronConnect.

VE.Direct communication port
The VE.Direct port can be used for connection to a GX device, GlobalLink 520 for monitoring via the VRM portal or for connection to a computer for monitoring or configuration through the VictronConnect app.

Monitoring via the VictronConnect app or a GX device:

  • The inverter's input or output voltage and % load
  • Solar energy, voltage and current
  • Operating status and alarms

Fully configurable via the VictronConnect app:

  • Low battery voltage alarm threshold and reset level
  • Low battery voltage shutdown and restart levels

  • ECO mode on/off and ECO mode sensor level
  • Battery charging current, algorithm and voltages
  • Battery charging temperature compensation or low temperature shutdown level

For transferring the load to another AC source: the automatic transfer switch
For our low power inverters we recommend our transfer switch Filax Automatic Transfer Switch. Filax has a very short switching time (less than 20 milliseconds) so computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without interruption.
