VICTRON ENERGY ORI303025000, is a DC-DC converter to charge a 12 or 24V service battery in vehicles with an intelligent alternator. When the engine is running, however, these generators (controlled by Euro 5 and 6 engines' on-board electronics) do not always output the correct charging current and therefore a DC-DC converter is essential for proper charging of the service battery.
< strong>A DC-DC converter to charge a 12 or 24V service battery in vehicles with an intelligent alternator.
(regenerative braking, Euro 5 and Euro 6 engines) The DC-DC converter Buck-Boost is a DC-DC converter for charging 12 or 24V service batteries in vehicles with an intelligent alternator. The converter charges the auxiliary battery with a preset output voltage and thus avoids too high voltage (e.g. Mercedes: 15.4V) or too low voltage.
System for detection when "engine running"< br>Complete discharge of the vehicle's starter battery is avoided thanks to a built-in detection system that detects when "the engine is running". Instead of this detection system, the converter can also be activated with a programmable input (D+, CAN bus or (+)15 connection).
Fully programmable
The converter can be fully programmed with a simple and user-friendly PC application. (Requires a cable with USB type A male to USB type B male)
A product for 12V, 24V and 12/24V systems.
The converter can be programmed to charge a 12V or 24V starter battery from either a 12V or a 24V alternator and starter battery.
