VICTRON ENERGY SCC110015060R, is a solar charger that collects energy from your solar panels and stores it in your batteries. With the latest and fastest technology, SmartSolar maximizes energy harvesting and intelligently directs it to fully charge the battery in the shortest possible time. SmartSolar maintains battery health and extends its lifespan. For example, if the controller is named MPPT 75/10, it means that the controller can handle up to 75V input voltage (which means up to three solar panels in series) and a maximum of 10A current from the solar cells (145W for 12V).

Ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT)
Especially in cloudy weather when light intensity constantly changes, the ultra-fast MPPT controller will improve energy harvesting by up to 30% compared to PWM charge controllers and up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers.
Load output
High battery discharge can be prevented by connecting all loads to the load output. The load output disconnects the load when the battery has discharged to a preset voltage. (48V model: interface with a relay). Alternatively, an intelligent battery management algorithm can be selected: see battery life. The load output is short-circuit protected.
Battery Life: intelligent battery management
When a solar charge controller cannot fully charge the battery during a day, the result is often that the battery constantly goes from "partially charged" to "discharged". This operating mode (no regular full charge) can destroy a lead-acid battery in a few weeks or months.
The Battery Life algorithm will monitor the state of charge of the battery, and if necessary, day after day slightly increase the load disconnect level (i.e., disconnect the load earlier) until the energy harvesting is sufficient to recharge the battery to almost 100%. From that point onwards, the load disconnect level will be modulated so that almost 100% charge is achieved approximately once a week.

Internal temperature sensor
Compensates absorption and float charge voltage for temperature.
Additional external battery voltage and temperature sensing via Bluetooth
A Smart Battery Sense or a BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor can be used to communicate battery voltage and temperature to one or more SmartSolar charge controllers.
Recovery function for fully discharged batteries
Starts charging even when the battery has discharged to zero volts. Reconnects to a fully charged lithium-ion battery with an internal disconnection function.
