VICTRON ENERGY BMS300200200, is a VE.Bus BMS and VE.Bus BMS V2 are battery management systems (BMS) designed to interact with and protect a single or multiple Victron Lithium Battery Smart 12, 8 V & 25.6 V (LiFePO4 or LFP) in systems that have Victron inverters or inverter/chargers with VE.Bus communication. It monitors and protects the batteries against over- and under-voltage in all individual cells as well as against over- or under-temperature.
Based on the battery or the status of the batteries, the BMS will:
- Generate a pre-alarm signal to warn of an imminent cell undervoltage.
- Disable inverting in VE.Bus inverter or inverter/charger via VE.Bus and disable other loads via the “Load disconnection” terminal if a cell undervoltage occurs.
- Disable charging in the VE.Bus inverter or inverter/charger VE.Bus and disable other chargers via the terminal “Charge disconnection” if a cell overvoltage or under-   ;or overtemperature.
The “original version” of VE.Bus BMS is best suited to systems without a GX unit. "Next generation" of VE.Bus BMS V2 has additional features such as:
- Remote terminals for on/off.
- Possibility to disable VE.Direct and VE .Can solar charger via a GX device.
- Allow control of VE.Bus inverter/charger from multiple devices such as Digital Multi Control, VE.Bus Smart dongle and/or a GX device.< /li>
- Extra power input and output terminals that allow a GX device to remain powered in the event of a system shutdown.
