Since this is funded by authorities, the service is free to use. Wherever you are, at sea or on land, rescueME PLB1 gives you the assurance that global emergency services can be alerted at the push of a button. The PLB1 can be used with one hand in the most demanding situations. A simple spring-loaded flap protects the activation button from accidental use. When rescueME PLB1 is activated, your position and ID are sent to a rescue center via satellites. The nearest emergency service is immediately notified that you are in distress along with your position to enable a quick rescue mission.
