VICTRON ENERGY BPP910200100, the Octo GX is your installation's communication hub. It connects the components and ensures they work in harmony. Real-time data monitoring and setting changes are performed with your smartphone (or other device) via our free remote management portal Victron Remote Management Portal, VRM. As soon as you "log in" to the Octo GX, you immediately get an overview of your system: Battery charge status, current power consumption, energy absorption from solar cells, power supply from mains/generator. With Victron's remote management portal (VRM), you get complete access to all controls and settings on all system components connected to either your CCGX, Venus GX or Octo GX. It allows you to log in and make installations – anywhere, anytime. This powerful feature also provides hassle-free diagnostic checks and analysis of saved information.
The Octo GX can be programmed to automatically start your generator – due to low voltage, high load or battery charge status. It can also be adapted to delay ignition until the end of "quiet" periods, thus avoiding accidental disturbances at night. The Octo GX controls energy storage systems. It keeps auxiliary batteries fully charged, activates during power outages and redirects surplus energy (solar cells) for self-consumption – saving you money. The Octo GX belongs to the GX product family. The Octo GX is the best option for installations with many MPPT solar chargers, as it has 10 VE.Direct ports.
