YACHT DEVICES YDNR-02, connects all marine and mobile devices easily. It supports all popular marine protocols, making it compatible with virtually all marine systems and also allows you to monitor your boat from a web browser without an internet connection or special software. The router has an NMEA 2000 and SeaTalk port, two NMEA 0183 ports, three TCP/UDP data servers, and a built-in web server for easy configuration or software updates. It creates its own Wi-Fi network (access point) or can connect to the boat's existing Wi-Fi.

The integrated web server allows you to easily view and control data directly in a web browser without having to install an app. The web-based gauges make it easy to access all data. The layout and its content can be customized.

The router has the best bidirectional converter between NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, and SeaTalk, with the widest message conversion on the market. Data stream transmission can be easily managed from a web interface, and individual message filters can be set on each port, allowing certain messages to be limited or blocked.

A server can be configured for troubleshooting and analysis of data traffic directly from a web browser. A free program allows viewing data from the CAN bus (NMEA 2000, J1939), managing NMEA 2000 devices, and recording traffic. The router is equipped with an NMEA 2000 micro male connector. Adapter cables are needed for connection to other standards.

Product features

  • 1x NMEA 2000 port with NMEA 2000 male
  • 2x NMEA 0183 ports (TX/RX, 300-115200 bps)
  • Both "single-ended" (RS-232) and "differential" (RS-422) NMEA 0183 connections are supported
  • 1x SeaTalk port (multiple devices can be connected)
  • 3x TCP/UDP data servers (NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000 data) for software or apps
  • Internal web server for display, diagnostics, software updates, and configuration

Applications

  • Connection of older (NMEA 0183, SeaTalk) equipment (sensors, autopilot, wind, etc.) to modern plotters that only have NMEA 2000
  • Connection of equipment with different speeds or protocols (e.g., SeaTalk sensors to NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000, or 4800 bps GPS with 380400 bps AIS or VHF)
  • Connection of marine equipment to software and apps (compatible with virtually all marine software including OpenCPN, Expedition 10, Coastal Explorer, iNavX, Navionics, iSailor, SeaPilot and many more)
  • Solves connection problems between software (by using data filters or tunnel mode without checksum for older NMEA 0183 equipment.)
  • Monitor and control the boat over the internet (VPN access to the boat's Wi-Fi is required)
  • Wireless link between NMEA 0183 or SeaTalk equipment or NMEA 2000 network (two routers are needed)
  • Management and updating of NMEA 2000 devices, recording of NMEA 2000 data for diagnostics
