MARETRON VDR100-01, used to store data from all products in a NMEA 2000® network. Each message is stored using solid-state memory technology, and it's easy to retrieve data using a regular USB stick. Depending on how large the memory is, up to a year's worth of data can be stored. If the memory runs out, the oldest recorded data is deleted (circular deletion) so that the latest data is always available. Recorded messages can be used in many ways, for example to analyze performance, trace routes, identify service needs, see how the network worked, investigate events that occurred and identify errors. Everything to reduce costs and increase safety. An example is if a fuel flow module (which shows how much fuel is consumed), with monitoring of the engine speed and with a GPS receiver, you can see where the boat has been, how fast it was going, how much the engine worked and how much fuel was consumed.< /p>
All this can be easily displayed in the Maretron N2KExtractor where graphs can be presented and the route can be followed on a map. It is also possible to export the data to a spreadsheet program for further analysis. Select one or more recorded messages and between which dates you want to see the statistics.
