MARETRON MPower CBMD12-R, is a CLMD12 bypass module that provides the ability to manually control individual loads locally with a simple push of a button. The CBMD12 uses standard fuses for overcurrent protection and 12 Carling Curvette Marine Rocker Switches for manual control of each load.
Curvette Rocker Switches are one of the most popular models in electrical applications and are designed for extreme environments, corrosion, temperature variations, vibrations, shocks, and more. They are extremely robust and designed to withstand at least 100,000 activation cycles. This is a more reliable, safe, and simple process compared to physically moving a fuse when manually overriding a circuit.
It is important to ensure that the fuse current rating for each load is appropriate to protect the load and its cables. Note that the Bypass Module does not support parallel outputs as each circuit is controlled by a separate button. In addition, the Bypass Module does not support dimming of circuits.
