VICTRON ENERGY PIN122161000, the Phoenix Inverter Smart is an efficient and reliable 12/1600, 230V inverter. It is based on our proven and field-tested Phoenix inverter platform and now features a new slimmer design and a full metal casing. The models are available in 1600 VA, 2000 VA, and 3000 VA for 12, 24, or 48 V systems. It is powerful enough to supply the most common plug-in devices in your car, boat, caravan, or home. Proven reliability
The full-wave and toroidal transformer topology has proven reliable over many years. The inverters are protected against short circuits and overheating, whether due to overload or high ambient temperature.
High start-up power
Required to start loads such as power converters for LED lamps, halogen lamps, or power tools.
Eco mode
When the inverter is in ECO mode, it switches to standby when the load drops below a preset value. Once in standby mode, the inverter will switch on for a short period every 2.5 seconds (adjustable). If the load exceeds the preset level, the inverter will remain on.
Remote on/off
It is possible to connect a remote on/off switch or a relay to a two-pole connector. Alternatively, the H terminal (left) of the two-pole connector can be switched to the battery's positive, or the L terminal (right) of the two-pole connector can be switched to the battery's negative (or e.g., a vehicle chassis)

For transferring the load to another AC source: the automatic transfer switch
For our low-power inverters, we recommend our Filax Automatic Transfer Switch. The Filax has a very short transfer time (less than 20 milliseconds) so computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without interruption. Alternatively, a MultiPlus with a built-in transfer switch can be used.
