VICTRON ENERGY BPC122547006, is a waterproof Blue Smart IP67 charger 12V/25A which is a new professional battery charger with built-in Bluetooth. The waterproof Blue Smart IP67 can be used on devices in your workshop and on motor vehicles such as (classic) cars, motorcycles, boats, motorhomes and caravans. The seven-step charging algorithm gets the most out of your battery. The charger supplies the battery with the power it needs, maintains its health and ensures better performance and longer life. Unlike other brands, the waterproof Blue Smart IP67 charger tries to recharge completely discharged batteries by forcing low current into them. After that, normal charging resumes as soon as the battery poles have sufficient voltage.
The waterproof Blue Smart IP67 is equipped with built-in Bluetooth and you can check the status of the charger and the battery via a smartphone, a tablet or a laptop. All settings on the charger can be done with the VictronConnect app.
Bluetooth Smart compatible
Blue Smart IP67 charger is the wireless solution to monitor voltage and current, to change settings and to update the charger when new features become available. With Bluetooth, the IP67 charger works better and in a similar way to the IP22 and IP65 chargers.
Fully enclosed: waterproof, shockproof and sparkproof
Water, oil or dirt will not to be able to damage the Blue Smart IP67 charger. The housing is made of die-cast aluminum and the electronics are cast in resin.

The Blue Smart charger is equipped with a microprocessor controlled adaptive battery management. The adaptation function will automatically optimize the process in relation to the way the battery is used.
Storage mode: Less maintenance and aging when the battery is not in use:
Storage mode is always activated when the battery does not have exposed to discharge for 24 hours. In the storage mode, the float voltage is reduced to 2.2 V/cell (13.2 V for 12 V batteries) to minimize gassing and corrosion of the positive electrode plates. Once a week the voltage is raised back to the absorption level to "balance" the battery. This feature prevents stratification of the electrolyte and sulphation, one of the main causes of premature battery failure.

Lithium-ion batteries are charged using a simple bulk - absorption - float algorithm.
Recovery function for fully discharged batteries
Starts charging even when the battery has been discharged to zero volts. Reconnects to a completely discharged lithium-ion battery with an internal disconnect function.
Protected against overheating
Can be used in hot environments such as show engine room. The output current decreases when the temperature increases up to 60 °C but the charger can cope with this.
Two LEDs to show status indication
