Using the latest and fastest technology, SmartSolar maximizes energy harvesting and intelligently directs it to fully charge the battery in the shortest possible time. SmartSolar maintains battery health and extends its lifespan. For example, if the controller is named MPPT 75/10, it means that the controller can handle up to 75V input voltage (which means up to three solar panels in series) and a maximum of 10A current from the solar cells (145W for 12V).

If partial shading occurs, two or more maximum power points may be present on the power-voltage curve. Traditional MPPT devices tend to lock onto a local MPP, which may not be the optimal MPP. The innovative BlueSolar algorithm always maximizes energy harvest by locking onto an optimal MPP.
