EGIS 7612-24B, is an automatic isolating relay for up to 3 battery banks in 24V. Genbom to combine two independent ACR (Automatic Charging Relay) in one unit and the same unit reduces installation space and idle current.

Adjustable auxiliary battery priority provides variable voltage points for each relay to share the engine charge without sacrificing starting ability. Start/engine isolation and start assist functions are optional for each relay which allows protection of sensitive electronics from engine interference.

Functions:

  • Prevents discharge of starter battery and ensures starting capability by sharing charge on any of three (3) batteries and isolating batteries when no charging sources are present.
  • Fully sealed with integral connection solves corrosion and vibration problems for control wires related to competitive industrial solutions. Enables plug and play assembly.
  • Ultra-low power consumption Compare to typical ACR (7-10 mA) vs 7610 ACR @ 1.3 mA, will not drain the batteries even after extended electrical system outages.
  • Optional undervoltage lockout provides the ability to prevent either ACR from connecting a good battery under charge with a battery that has a shorted cell, ensuring that a single battery or bank does not take out the other system batteries.

  • Start/motor isolation and start assist are optional for each relay; allows protection of sensitive electronics from engine starting or the ability to increase starting efficiency.
  • Adjustable voltage drop for auxiliary battery priority allows to share starting battery energy for auxiliary battery without risking engine starting ability.
  • Additional Low Amp Output can be used to report device status remotely, or drive a secondary relay for charging to a battery bank without a charging source.
