Victron Energy's Lithium-NG batteries are Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4 or LFP) batteries available with a nominal voltage of 12 .8 V, 25.6 V or 51.2 V in different capacities. They can be connected in series, in parallel and in series/parallel to create a battery bank for system voltages of 12 V, 24 V or 48 V. The maximum number of batteries in a system is 50, giving a maximum energy storage of 192 kWh in a 12 V system and up to 384 kWh in a 24 V and 48 V system.
Built-in shunt
Battery data (battery voltage, current and temperature) transferred to BMS and evaluated there, e.g. how to calculate charge status, which can then be read out via VictronConnect or a GX communication center, or to create and issue special warnings and alarms.
Automatic setting
< /strong>Monitoring and control via the Victron Connect app or a GX device and the VRM portal. All battery parameters are automatically managed by the BMS. The BMS automatically detects the system voltage and the number of batteries used in parallel. in series and with series/parallel connection. BMS (as of now Lynx Smart BMS NG 500 A/1000 A, additional models to come) is mandatory and must be purchased separately. Monitoring and control is via VictronConnect (every BMS model has Bluetooth), a GX communication center or the VRM portal. You can view battery parameters such as cell status, cell voltage, battery current and temperatures in real time. The battery firmware is automatically updated by the BMS. Easy bracket mounting Mounting brackets make installation easy and ensure that the battery is optimally secured against slipping or tipping over.
Increased enclosure rating
The lithium-NG batteries are effectively sealed against dust and can withstand low-pressure water jets, making them suitable for environments where exposure to dust and water is a concern.
Low self-discharge
The self-discharge rate has been significantly improved and is now the highest 2% of battery capacity per month. A low self-discharge contributes to the NG battery's overall performance, longer life and reliability.

Lynx Smart BMS NG is a dedicated battery management system (BMS) that is specially designed for Victron Lithium NG batteries. These batteries use lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) technology and are available in 12.8 V, 25.6 V or 51.2 V and with several capacities. They can be configured in series, parallel and series/parallel to enable the creation of battery banks with system voltages of 12 V, 24 V or 48 V. The maximum number of batteries in a single system is 50, enabling a maximum energy storage of 192 kWh in a 12 V system and up to 384 kWh in a 24 V and 48 V system. The highest energy storage capacity can be multiplied by paralleling several Lynx Smart BMS systems, which also ensures redundancy if one of the battery banks fails.
