Lithium SuperPack NG is a brand new battery series from Victron Energy. Deliveries will take place gradually during the spring and early summer, and orders will be sent out in order of arrival. We recommend ordering well in advance to ensure early delivery.
The Lithium SuperPack NG, a complete replacement battery for lead-acid batteries – perfect for both new installations and upgrades – works seamlessly with the VictronConnect app. Available in 12V, 24V and 48V models, the range features a built-in Battery Management System, integrated heating for charging in sub-zero temperatures and a convenient on/off switch that allows safe storage during the off-season without the need to disconnect the battery.
The VictronConnect app allows users to monitor the battery’s charge status and adjust settings as needed. The Lithium SuperPack NG can deliver high power continuously, eliminating the need for large and heavy battery banks. Its compact design means it can fit under a passenger seat or in other tight spaces – making the lithium upgrade even easier.
With its bidirectional electronic switch that prevents unnecessary shutdowns, as well as multiple layers of protection for demanding environments, the Lithium SuperPack NG offers reliable lithium power that simply works. Anywhere.
Monitoring and control
The battery has built-in Bluetooth Smart, which allows wireless configuration, monitoring and firmware updates via the VictronConnect app. The Instant Readout feature instantly displays important parameters such as state of charge (SoC), battery temperature, warnings and alarms – directly in the device list without the need to connect. Two LED indicators also provide quick visual information about Bluetooth status, warnings, alarms and ongoing updates. The battery also has a physical On/Off button that easily disconnects both charging and discharging for safe handling and longer storage time.
Safety and battery management
The integrated BMS (Battery Management System) handles cell balancing, protection functions and continuous monitoring to ensure optimal safety and lifespan. The battery also has an external feedback signal (EFS) that delivers a current-limited voltage signal. It can be used as an external disconnect signal (EDS) for redundant protection systems or configured as an external charging signal (ECS) that is activated upon low SoC pre-warning. For additional flexibility, the battery can be paralleled with an unlimited number of units to increase total energy capacity, as long as the system current does not exceed what an individual battery can safely interrupt.
Cold environment features
The battery's self-heating function ensures reliable charging even in cold temperatures. In Charger mode, the heater is powered by the connected charger and is automatically activated when the cell temperature drops below 0°C. In Auto mode, the battery uses its own energy to keep the cells above the minimum safe charging temperature, thus enabling immediate charging. If the charge status drops below the defined SoC threshold, the heater is switched off to protect the battery.
Energy management and efficiency
The battery has an efficiency of 93% and a configurable discharge floor that defines the lowest allowable charge level to avoid harmful deep discharge. When the floor is reached, VictronConnect displays a low SoC alarm and the Allow To Discharge (ATD) function is disabled until the battery is charged above the limit again, protecting the battery and maintaining the necessary reserve capacity.
