Online Course Structure
The online course for the Pleasure Craft Certificate is designed to provide you with the easiest possible learning experience, with maximum understanding and knowledge that will benefit you in your boating life. The course is not only structured for you to learn as much as possible, but also, of course, for you to pass the examination and obtain your Pleasure Craft Certificate.

Validity Period
Login details are valid for 6 months. They can be extended with the education guarantee or for an additional 4 months for 450 SEK, which is done directly with Båtutbildning.

Course Material
Includes practice nautical charts for the Pleasure Craft Certificate, compass, ruler, and protractor.

Course Book
The course book is called "Lilla Skepparen – Lärobok och arbetsbok för Förarintyget" (The Little Skipper – Textbook and Workbook for the Pleasure Craft Certificate) and/or "Stora Skepparen – Lärobok och arbetsbok för Kustskepparintyget" (The Big Skipper – Textbook and Workbook for the Coastal Skipper Certificate) depending on which course you book.

Examination
You are welcome to take the exam at Båtutbildning in Stockholm or Gothenburg on Sundays during the weekends we have instructor-led courses. You can also contact examiners directly via the Nämnden för Båtlivsutbildning. Examiners are available throughout Sweden. 

Please note that the Examination fee is additional and is currently 625 SEK (plus 65 SEK for the Blue Certificate Book) and is charged by the Nämnden för Båtlivsutbildning. Payment is made in cash or via Swish at the time of the exam.
