YACHT DEVICES YDEN-02N, is an ethernet gateway that transmits data over ethernet, Garmin Marine Network, Raymarine SeaTalk HS and RayNet, Furuno NavNet or NMEA OneNet and enables connecting NMEA 2000 -network. The device has a standard ethernet RJ45 connector to connect to a router or computer. To connect to a chartplotter, a special cable from the chartplotter manufacturer may need to be used.

YDEN-02 sends NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 data through TCP and/or UDP protocols and has a bi-directional converter between NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000. It allows viewing of navigation data including AIS as well as management of NMEA products including autopilots from virtually any marine software such as OpenCPN (NMEA 0183), Expedition 10 (NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000). The gateway has three data servers (TCP/UDP), which makes it possible to tailor settings for different areas of use.

YDEN-02 has a built-in web server, which makes it possible to see all data and control electricity consumers via a standard browser from a computer, mobile, tablet. No internet connection or special software is required. If you have an internet connection, you will be able to monitor and control the boat remotely. You customize the web meters as you wish.

The built-in web server makes it possible to configure the device and update the firmware. It also allows viewing of NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 data in a web browser for troubleshooting. The YDEN-02 automatically records your track with weather, depth and other data in the built-in memory (up to 12,000 points). This data can be saved as a GPX or CSV file for use by e.g. a Garmin, Google Earth or a calculation program.

If the YDEN-02 has access to the internet, it can automatically upload data to a cloud service. With it, it's easy to see your routes and share your position with friends. Read more about the cloud services: cloud.yachtd.com
