VICTRON ENERGY SHU065130050, is a water-resistant all-in-one battery monitor, except for a display. Your phone acts as the display instead. Smartshunt connects to the VictronConnect app on your phone (or tablet) via Bluetooth and you can conveniently read all monitored battery parameters, such as charge status, time remaining, historical information and much more.
Alternatively, Smartshunt can be connected and read by a GX device. The connection to Smartshunt is made with a VE.Direct cable.
Smartshunt is a good alternative to a BMV battery monitor, especially in systems where battery monitoring is required but fewer cables and less clutter are desired.
Smartshunt is equipped with Bluetooth, a VE.Direct port and a connector that can be used for: monitoring a second battery, midpoint monitoring or a temperature sensor.
Smartshunt IP65 is available in 300, 500, 1,000 and 2,000A.
Please note that you need a short negative cable between the outgoing negative terminal on the battery bank to the inside of the shunt. If you need to supplement with such a cable, they are available under this link: Tinned cable pre-crimped
