Built-in 66-channel GPS receiver
WAAS GPS receiver with 66 channels built into the front of the radio. Provides the flexibility to use the NMEA2000 data bus or the built-in GPS unit to provide accurate position data on the radio's display
NMEA2000 compatible
Easy plug and play connection to the NMEA bus. A single connection interface allows the connection of GPS data and DSC calls between compatible devices.
Second station RAM4 compatibility
Now compatible with Standard Horizon's latest second station microphone RAM4, model SSM-70. All functions of the main radio can now be controlled on the second station's RAM4, this includes all radio functions, DSC functions and intercom functions between the radio and the second station.

Ultra-compact easy installation
Mounting a VHF radio has never been easier. The Explorer series VHF features an ultra-thin, compact rear case, only 82 mm deep or half the depth of comparable VHF radios on the market. The rear case design also provides flexibility when mounting the radio (requires optional MMB-97 bracket) in tight areas or mounting the radio by taking up less dash space and allowing for more mounting options.
