NMEA2000 Compliant
Easy plug and play connection to NMEA - the bus. A single connection interface enables the connection of GPS data and DSC calls between compatible devices.
Second Station RAM4 Compatibility
Now compatible with Standard Horizon's latest second station microphone RAM4, model SSM-70. All functions of the main radio can now be controlled on the second station's RAM4, this includes all radio functions, DSC functions and intercom functions between the radio and the second station.

Ultra compact easy installation
Mounting a VHF radio has never been easier. The Explorer Series VHF has an ultra-thin, compact back case, just 82mm deep, or half the depth of comparable VHF radios on the market. The rear housing design also provides flexibility when mounting the radio (requires optional MMB-97 bracket) in tight areas or bracket mounting the radio by taking up less dash space and allowing for more mounting options.
