Superior Bird Mode
We have built on Raymarine's exceptional bird identification technology and further developed Magnum's Bird Mode function to detect birds with greater clarity up to 10 nautical miles. By locating flocks of birds using Magnum, fishermen can find schools of baitfish faster and with less fuel consumption.
Improved Image Reproduction
Magnum radar also uses Raymarine's clearer beam technology which provides a bearing resolution better than 1 degree for more detailed target separation, chart-like coastal information and superior long range.
Best in Class Target Tracking
Magnum provides better situational awareness with fully automatic MARPA for target detection and tracking. Magnum also utilizes Raymarine's Evolution 9-axis heading sensor technology to deliver accurate real-time target plots.
True Trails
Magnum features True Trails target history. With True Trails, you can see a "historical" wake behind each moving contact. This additional information makes it even easier to interpret how other vessels are moving and facilitates decision-making on how to pass safely.
Real-time Updates
Connect Magnum to Axiom and LightHouse 3 and you get radar with uninterrupted image capture of targets in conjunction with course changes. Real-time heading updates allow the radar's position display to rotate freely when needed, without the entire display needing to be updated.
Key Features
Magnum is available with 4 kW or 12 kW output power and with a four or six foot antenna. It offers a maximum range of up to 96 nautical miles for the 12 kW model – ideal for offshore sailing – and up to 72 nautical miles for the 4 kW models. Magnum is the perfect complement to Raymarine's award-winning multifunction displays (MFD) Axiom® and Axiom Pro with LightHouse 3, and is also backward compatible with older models.
