OCEAN SIGNAL M100 is a professional rescue product from Ocean Signal made for the marine market and offshore industry. The M100 can be mounted on a buoyancy or rescue vest and activates automatically if the vest is inflated or if it goes underwater.

When the M100 is activated, an AIS message is sent to all nearby AIS receivers so that it appears on their screens as an MOB target. The M100 also transmits a 121.5 MHz homing signal used by, for example, rescue helicopters. The integrated 66-channel GPS allows the position to be sent out every minute via the AIS network.
