MARETRON SMS100-01, is a device that sends text messages via SMS to a mobile phone if an alarm condition occurs. The SMS100 works with a Maretron display or N2KView. When an alarm condition is met, for example, that the tank level is too low, a pre-set message is sent to a selected mobile number. It doesn't matter if there is water in the bilge, that the shore power connection is not working, that a hatch has been opened or that the boat is moving, the SMS100 ensures that the right person quickly receives information and can fix the problem. It is also possible to send an SMS to the boat to quickly get the status of the most important parameters, including position, bilge pump status, battery voltage, shore power connection, wind speed and temperatures inside and out.
You can also send a text message to your vessel and with the correct sensors installed, the SMS100 will respond with status information including vessel position, bilge status, battery and shore power voltage, wind speed, inside and outside temperature. In addition, N2KView can be configured to respond to text messages with more complex sentences. You enter the text for the response message with parameters that are dynamically replaced by their values when the message is sent.
The SIM100 comes with an integrated e-SIM card. Subscriptions are signed separately.
