SIMARINE STR1 , is a modern radar-based level sensor that provides very accurate measurements of liquid levels in plastic tanks. Thanks to the radar technology, it is not affected by the density, temperature or movement of the liquid, making it particularly reliable in boats, motorhomes and other environments where tanks are exposed to movement and varying conditions.
The sensor measures by sending radar signals towards the surface of the liquid, providing stable results even in tanks with irregular shapes. It works in plastic tanks between 150 and 2000 millimeters and can be integrated into many systems thanks to several analog output signals and built-in Bluetooth connectivity for monitoring via the Simarine app.
STR1 is built for long life and requires minimal maintenance as it has no moving parts. Installation is simple and requires no internal calibration in the tank. The result is a reliable and user-friendly level sensor that provides a modern and accurate solution for monitoring liquid levels.

Comparison between STR1 and STR2
The Simarine STR1 is a radar-based level sensor with analog outputs and Bluetooth, perfect when you want to replace traditional sensors and at the same time be able to read the tank level via the Simarine app. The STR2, on the other hand, is a pure NMEA 2000 sensor, built to integrate directly into the boat's digital network and share tank data with plotters and other NMEA devices. The STR1 is therefore best suited for analog or app-based installations, while the STR2 is the obvious choice in modern NMEA systems.
