Lighting
The cable is designed for lighting units in solar power systems. Energy consumption can be significantly reduced with the ability to dim the lighting as needed. Lower power consumption will reduce the overall cost of the system. In addition, the availability of lighting will increase, even with partially charged batteries in low sunlight. The cable connects the TX output of the VE.Direct connection on an MPPT charger to the PWM dimming input of the LED driver.
Virtual load output
The cable is designed to add an output function to the larger MPPT chargers (MPPT 100/30 and larger), which do not have a load output. The cable connects the TX output of the VE.Direct connector on an MPPT charger to a battery protection or solid-state relay to switch a load on or off.
