ACTISENSE PRO-BUF-1-BAS-S, is a professional NMEA Buffer, screwless terminals. Customizable NMEA 0183 buffer with a variety of operating modes. Provides two OPTO-isolated inputs and twelve ISO-Drive ™ outputs, keeping devices protected from dangerous ground loops. The PRO-BUF-1 is reliable, robust and provides isolation on all inputs and outputs as standard. With two NMEA 0183 inputs, twelve NMEA 0183 outputs, a bidirectional serial port and an Ethernet port, the PRO-BUF-1 is a perfect solution for larger recreational vessels and commercial shipping.
The PRO-BUF-1 is designed to fit most NMEA 0183 systems and is ready to go out of the box by simply connecting the two mode inputs as needed. The manually configurable basic mode functions include variations of buffer modes, autoswitch modes and combination mode. For all other configurations, select "User Configuration Mode" if you leave the mode inputs floating. The browser-based configuration tool allows full customization of the PRO-BUF-1 and is compatible with all popular operating systems.
The PRO-BUF-1 supports a direct Ethernet connection to a PC without the need for a specialized Ethernet crossover cable. To make installation quick and easy, the PRO-BUF-1 has two-part pluggable connections that allow the use of screw or screw-free terminals, and a professional DIN-rail mounting mechanism (DIN-rail included). Helpful LEDs indicate power, data in, data out and alarm status to aid diagnostics.
