YACHT DEVICES YDEN-02R, is an ethernet gateway that transfers data over ethernet, Garmin Marine Network, Raymarine SeaTalk HS and RayNet, Furuno NavNet or NMEA OneNet and allows NMEA 2000 networks to be connected. The unit has a standard ethernet RJ45 connector for connecting to a router or computer. To connect to a chartplotter, a special cable from the chartplotter Manufacturer may be required. The YDEN-02 sends NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 data via TCP and/or UDP protocols and has a bidirectional converter between NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000. This makes it possible to view navigation data including AIS as well as manage NMEA products including autopilots from virtually all marine software such as OpenCPN (NMEA 0183), Expedition 10 (NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000). The gateway has three data servers (TCP/UDP) which allows for customized settings for different applications.

The YDEN-02 has a built-in web server which makes it possible to view all data and control electrical consumers via a standard web browser from a computer, mobile, or tablet. No internet connection or special program is required. If you have an internet connection, you can monitor and control the boat remotely. You customize the web gauges as you wish. The built-in web server allows you to configure the unit and update the firmware. It also allows you to view NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 data in a web browser for troubleshooting. The YDEN-02 automatically records your track with weather, depth, and other data in the built-in memory (up to 12,000 points). This data can be saved as a GPX or CSV file for use by, for example, a Garmin, Google Earth, or a spreadsheet program.

If the YDEN-02 has internet access, it can automatically upload data to a cloud service. With it, it's easy to see your routes and share your position with friends. Read more about the cloud services: cloud.yachtd.com
