YACHT DEVICES YDOG-01 is designed for gasoline engines that lack a digital interface, and provides SeaTalk ng equipment with engine speed (rpm), alternator voltage (measured via the SeaRalk ng interface) and engine hours.

It can also be programmed to use data from SeaTalk ng temperature or pressure sensors and send these as coolant and oil pressure (or temperature) or turbo or fuel pressure. The unit can be programmed to handle high speed, over temperature and low voltage warning as well as set status on the charge indication (displayed on a chartplotter or SeaTalk ng).

To use the transducer, connect it to a SeaTalk ng network . Wrap 4-5 turns with the sensor cable around a spark plug cable and fix with tape. For most installations, no other settings need to be made, but you may need to adjust the RPM according to the ignition system and your engine.

  • YDOG-01N with NMEA 2000 connector
  • YDOG-01R with SeaTalkNG connector
