MARETRON SSC300-01, is a solid-state electronic rate/gyro compass that provides better than 0.7° heading accuracy at ±45° roll and pitch, and better than 1° roll and pitch accuracy in calm conditions. Each SSC300 is factory calibrated for maximum accuracy. It provides accurate, reliable heading information 10 times per second, and roll and pitch 1 time per second. A 3-axis rate gyro is used with a 3-axis accelerometer to provide accurate stable values in dynamic conditions such as hard turns or high seas, using advanced algorithms, making it an ideal sensor for autopilots or radar overlay.
The SSC300 is NMEA 2000® certified and also compatible with NMEA 0183. It connects to all NMEA 2000® networks and with an NMEA 0183 cable (accessory) it can be connected to NMEA 0183 listeners. The SC300 can be automatically calibrated for deviation. Its dynamic accuracy is improved with advanced digital filters from the 3-axis magnetometer, the 3-axis accelerometer, and the rate gyro.
