MARETRON CLM100-01, the CLM100 converts data from common 4-20mA analog sensors to digital data so that it can be displayed on an NMEA 2000® display. A multitude of 4-20mA sensors are supported by the CLM100, e.g., sensors for measuring DC voltage and current, flows, distance, speed and acceleration, angle, temperatures, humidity, force, pressure, decibels, and rotation.

Typical applications for the CLM100 are engine monitoring with accelerometers and vibration sensors. Vibrations on pumps, motors, fans, and gearboxes are an early symptom of potential problems, which can be avoided and minimize maintenance costs. Other examples for using the CLM100 include shaft speed monitoring where a rotation sensor can convert data to RPM. Forces in stays or masts can be easily monitored and displayed on a Maretron display.
