VICTRON ENERGY SHU065210050, is a waterproof all-in-one battery monitor, except for a display. Your phone acts as the display instead. The SmartShunt connects to the VictronConnect app on your phone (or tablet) via Bluetooth, allowing you to conveniently read all monitored battery parameters, such as charge status, time remaining, historical information, and much more.
Alternatively, the SmartShunt can be connected to and read by a GX device. The connection to the SmartShunt is made with a VE.Direct cable.
The SmartShunt is a good alternative to a BMV battery monitor, especially in systems where battery monitoring is required but fewer cables and less clutter are desired.
The SmartShunt is equipped with Bluetooth, a VE.Direct port, and a connector that can be used for: monitoring a second battery, midpoint monitoring, or a temperature sensor.
The SmartShunt IP65 is available in 300, 500, 1,000, and 2,000A.
Please note that you need a short negative cable between the outgoing negative terminal of the battery bank and the inside of the shunt. If you need to supplement with such a cable, you can find it under this link: Pre-tinned crimped cable
