Venus OS v2.73: Important bug fixes and minor improvements for GX devices

The latest Venus OS update resolves compatibility issues, improves VRM functions, and optimizes Bluetooth connections for Cerbo GX and other GX devices.

Today, Venus OS version 2.73 was released with a number of minor but important improvements. Venus OS is the software that runs on Cerbo GX as well as previous models such as Color Control GX and Venus GX. It is also available in the GX versions of MultiPlus-II and EasySolar-II.

New in version 2.73

  • 1) Fix for compatibility issues between older Cerbo GX (serial numbers below HQ2026) and new GX Touch screens. The display now works correctly on startup.
  • 2) VRM: power (watt) transfer per tracker for better display in the VRM Dashboard.
  • 3) Fix for auto-repartition-script on Venus GX, important for the installation of upcoming versions (v2.80 and later).
  • 4) Fixed an issue where I/O settings were not displayed on CCGX despite installed GX Tank 140. Read more about GX Tank 140 here.
  • 5) Bluetooth fix: The GX device is now visible on a second phone with information that the first connection must be disconnected before a new connection can be made.

Further minor changes for Raspberry Pi and hobby projects can be found in the full changelog on Victron Professional.
