Raymarine has launched LightHouse 4.9, the latest update for all Axiom chartplotters. The update introduces new features, improvements, and optimizations that make your navigation experience even better. Here are the most notable new features:
Anchor mode uses GNSS (GPS) to record your position when the anchor reaches the bottom. The system automatically calculates swing and drag circles and warns of anchor drag. In LightHouse 4.9, you can now fine-tune anchor depth, chain length, and anchor position directly via new on-screen controls.
LightHouse 4.9 includes Manufacturer-specific home screen icons for Fusion, Hertz, JL Audio, Rockford Fosgate, and Wet Sounds. In addition, support for JL Audio MediaMaster 105 has been improved with RayNet Ethernet connectivity for a complete interface directly in Axiom.
Now you can distinguish between network cameras, analog cameras, and video sources with new icons. In addition, a camera home button has been added to quickly reset PTZ cameras to their home position.
LightHouse 4.9 provides support for GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and Beidou. You can enable/disable constellations and prioritize GNSS receivers based on HDOP or signal strength.
Now you can choose between multiple formats for latitude/longitude, including the popular DD.DDDDDD format. In addition, a new button makes it easy to add multiple waypoints in sequence.
The new base map offers more detailed coastlines, larger cities, and improved ocean features for global navigation.
LightHouse 4.9 includes updated versions of popular apps such as Netflix, AnyDesk, NV Charts, PredictWind, and Windy for the Axiom 2 series.
