Program MMSI on Raymarine RAY90 and RAY91 – Complete step-by-step guide

How to set your MMSI number on Raymarine RAY90 and RAY91 VHF radio with software v1.60 or later. Simple instructions with pictures and tips.

This process applies only to Raymarine RAY90 and RAY91 with software v1.60 or later. Follow the steps below to program your MMSI number. Note that this process can be accessed after the Start-up Wizard.

How to do it:

1. Start the radio and open Menu.
2. Navigate to DSC Setup and select MMSI.
3. Enter your unique 9-digit MMSI number provided by your licensing authority.
   Tip: MMSI numbers starting with '0' are reserved for groups and coast stations.
4. Confirm each digit with OK and select Done when finished.
5. Check that the number is correct and select:
   • Yes – Save
   • No – Try again if the number is incorrect
