Victron Energy warranty – 5 years standard and possibility of extension up to 10 years

Learn all about Victron Energy warranty conditions, cost of extension, and how you can easily extend the warranty on your products.

Victron Energy has excellent warranty conditions. All products are covered by a 5-year limited warranty, with the exception of batteries which have 2 years for lead-acid batteries and 3 years for lithium batteries. Below, we explain what a limited warranty means and how you can extend it.

What does a limited warranty mean?

A limited warranty covers defects in materials and Manufacturer for a certain period from the date of purchase. For Victron, this means:

  • Standard warranty: 5 years on all products
  • Battery warranty: 2 years for lead-acid, 3 years for lithium

Option to extend the warranty

Many Victron products have a lifespan that exceeds the warranty period. Therefore, Victron offers the option to purchase an additional 5 years warranty, providing a total of 10 years warranty period.

Cost: The extended warranty costs 10% of the current list price. The extension can be made at any time during the original warranty period, but the price is always based on the current list price.
