News in VictronConnect and VRM – Instant Readout and Smart Widgets

How to use instant readout and widgets in VictronConnect for better control and overview.

With the latest version of the VictronConnect app and VRM (Victron Remote Management), features are introduced that give you instant readout of key data and the ability to create widgets directly on your phone. This makes it easier than ever to monitor your energy system.

Instant Readout – live status without connection

With the Instant Readout feature, you see important live status information from a Bluetooth-equipped device as soon as it is detected – without having to connect! This saves time and gives you a quick overview of batteries, chargers, and other equipment.

Before the update:

Normally, you only see the device type and Bluetooth signal strength in the list:

Now you get instant readout of key data for each product:

The instant readout box can be expanded for full information or compressed for a quick overview. A complete list with the feature enabled might look like this:
