ACTISENSE NBF-3-BAS, isola e bufferizza i dati NMEA 0183, con la possibilità di alimentare più dispositivi. L'NBF-3 può distribuire fino a sei flussi NMEA identici da un'unica sorgente. Il segnale NMEA viene bufferizzato per garantire che ogni ricevitore riceva i dati alla tensione corretta, fornendo la giusta qualità dei dati. L'isolamento sugli ingressi e sulle uscite protegge tutti i trasmettitori e i ricevitori. Grazie a ciò, una sorgente non isolata può essere collegata senza influire negativamente sul sistema. Altrimenti, potrebbero verificarsi loop di massa con risultati errati. L'NBF3 ha la possibilità di fornire alimentazione al trasmettitore NMEA. Grazie a ciò, l'installazione è minimizzata e semplificata.
