ACTISENSE NBF-3-BAS, isolates and buffers NMEA 0183 data, with the ability to drive multiple devices. The NBF-3 can distribute up to six identical NMEA streams from one source. The NMEA signal is buffered to ensure that each receiver receives data at the correct voltage, providing the correct data quality. The insulation on the inputs and outputs protects all transmitters and receivers. Thanks to this, a non-isolated source can be connected without adversely affecting the system. Ground loops can otherwise occur with incorrect results. NBF3 has the ability to provide power to the NMEA transmitter. Thanks to that, the installation is minimized and simplified.
