VICTRON ENERGY SCC125085310, is a solar charger that collects energy from your solar panels and stores it in your batteries (MC4 connectors). With the latest and fastest technology, SmartSolar maximizes the energy collection and forwards it in an intelligent way to fully charge the battery in the shortest possible time. SmartSolar maintains battery health and extends life. For example, if the regulator is called MPPT 75/10, it means that the regulator can handle up to 75V input voltage (which means up to three solar panels in series) and a maximum current of 10A from the solar cells (145W for 12V).
MPPT: Ultra Fast Maximum Power Point Tracking
Thanks to constant monitoring of the voltage and current output of your solar panels, MPPT technology ensures that every drop of available energy in the panels is captured and stored. The advantage of this is most noticeable when it is partly cloudy outside and the brightness changes constantly.
Remote monitoring and control
You can remotely monitor and control the various functions of the BlueSolar MPPT charger through to connect a Bluetooth dongle and pair it with your smartphone or other device via VictronConnect. If your installation is connected to the Victron Remote Management (VRM) web portal, you get access to the full power of MPPT, anytime, anywhere, and both of these services are free of charge. For remote installation – even when there is no internet connection or phone coverage nearby – you may be able to monitor your MPPT by pairing it via Bluetooth to an optional LoRaWAN (long-range wide area network) device.
SmartSolar control screen as an option
By adding SmartSolar's control screen, you can easily check the status of your charger and battery storage. Just connect the display to the front of your MPPT charger for real-time monitoring and the ability to make settings.
