VICTRON ENERGY SCC125085310, is a solar charger that collects energy from your solar panels and stores it in your batteries (MC4 connectors). With the latest and fastest technology, SmartSolar maximizes energy harvesting and intelligently forwards it to fully charge the battery in the shortest possible time. SmartSolar maintains battery health and extends its lifespan. For example, if the controller is named MPPT 75/10, it means that the controller can handle up to 75V input voltage (which means up to three solar panels in series) and a maximum of 10A current from the solar cells (145W for 12V).
MPPT: Ultra Fast Maximum Power Point Tracking
Thanks to constant monitoring of the voltage and current output of your solar panels, MPPT technology ensures that every drop of available energy in the panels is captured and stored. The advantage of this is most noticeable when it is partly cloudy outside and the light intensity is constantly changing.
Remote monitoring and control
You can remotely monitor and control the various functions of the BlueSolar MPPT charger by connecting a Bluetooth dongle and pairing it with your smartphone or another device via VictronConnect. If your installation is connected to the Victron Remote Management (VRM) internet portal, you get access to the full power of MPPT, anytime, anywhere, and both of these services are free of charge. For remote installation – even when there is no internet connection or phone coverage nearby – you can possibly monitor your MPPT by pairing it via Bluetooth to a LoRaWAN (long-range wide area network) device, which is available as an option.
Optional SmartSolar control display
By adding the SmartSolar control display, you can easily check the status of your charger and battery storage. Simply connect the display to the front of your MPPT charger for real-time monitoring and the ability to make settings.
