YACHT DEVICES YDNG-03, is an NMEA 0183/NMEA 2000 converter that allows NMEA 0183 devices to be connected to an NMEA 2000 network (and vice versa). It has a bidirectional converter with support for many messages including AIS and autopilot. The YDNG-03 has an NMEA 2000 connector (male) and an NMEA 0183 port that receives and transmits data. The speed can be configured between 300 to 115200 bd for the NMEA 0183 port, which enables data from both AIS and standard NMEA 0183 messages. Both RS-232 and RS-422 are supported. Works with COM ports and USB to serial adapters. The YDNG-03 has a slot for a Micro SD card for configuration, firmware updates and diagnostic logging. No special software is needed to configure the device. You only need a device with a Micro SD card slot and a text editor.
