ACTISENSE NGT-1-ISO, is an NMEA 2000 Gateway for PC with Serial connection. It is used to convert data from an NMEA 2000 network to a computer with software that supports NMEA 2000. The NGT-1-USB is also used for programming the EMU-1. With the help of the NGT-1-USB and Actisense NMEA Reader, it is possible to configure, troubleshoot, and change instances in an NMEA 2000 network.

The NGT-1 is not used to receive NMEA 0183. Use the NGW-1 for this.
