YACHT DEVICES YDOG-01 is designed for gasoline engines that lack a digital interface, and provides NMEA 2000 equipment with engine speed (rpm), alternator voltage (measured via the NMEA 2000 interface) and engine hours.

It can also be programmed to use data from NMEA 2000 temperature or pressure sensors and send these as coolant and oil pressure (or temperature) or turbo or fuel pressure. The unit can be programmed to handle high speed, over temperature and low voltage warning as well as set the status of the charge indication (shown on a plotter or NMEA 2000 display).

To use the transducer, connect it to a NMEA 2000 -network. Wrap 4-5 turns with the sensor cable around a spark plug cable and fix with tape. For most installations, no other settings need to be made, but you may need to adjust the RPM according to the ignition system and your engine.


YDOG-01YDOG-01  available in two versions:

  • YDOG-01N with NMEA 2000 connector
  • YDOG-01R with SeaTalkNG connector

Functions

  • can be configured with a hidden button or with a N2K converter (in the field  ;installation description);
  • firmware can be updated with our NMEA 2000 converters;
  • free diagnostic program for Windows, Mac OS and Linux which allows to display
  • oscillogram in real time;
  • pulse range (per minute): 200-70000;
  • pulse division can be set from 0.5 (multiply by 2) to 8;
  • the length of the unit is only 40mm and it can be placed inside the engine cover.
