MARETRON DCM100-01, is an advanced device that can measure voltage and current from a source or consumer (DC) and converts this to NMEA 2000. Examples of sources that can be monitored are batteries, generators , solar panels and wind generators. Examples of consumers are inverters, refrigerators, windlass or lighting. When the DCM100 is used to monitor batteries, advanced algorithms are used where temperature, current, consumption and voltage are used to calculate the status of the battery (SoC). To measure current, an advanced Hall effect sensor is used which is easily mounted over the line. DCM100 is delivered with 1 pc 200A shunt, TR3K and FC01.
