YACHT DEVICES YDVR-04R, can record GPS track, wind, temperatures, AIS and all other data in the SeaTalkNG network that existed during all your trips during the season. Never forget exciting moments, get proof of strong winds and storms, collect data for upcoming trips, analyze your races, generate logbooks and diagnose problems. YDVR-04 saves all data from the marine network on a MicroSD card. In addition to navigation data, engine data, tank data, battery data or other available data are also saved. Unlike the previous model (YDVR-03), the YDVR-04 also has an audio input, which makes it possible to record from e.g. a VHF audio output or from a microphone. Audio data is saved as a standard audio file (.wav) which can be played by basically any program.

The data program can convert Voyage Recorder data to OpenSkipper, CanBoat and Signal K formats. Marine specialists can diagnose N2K problems with the open source program OpenSkipper. It can play back NMEA 2000 recordings and has excellent log handling. It is possible to load data from the YDVR-04 and encode all NMEA 2000 messages. With Voyage Recorder, you can get a multi-page, editable logbook of your trip with a few mouse clicks. The logbook is created from a template that can be modified with Microsoft Word or Libre Office Write. Or you create your own templates. Example of log book. The program costs nothing and works on Windows, Mac OS X or Linux. The program also contains data from a real sailing so it is easy to learn the program and see what can be done.

On average, 1 second of NMEA 2000 recording needs between 1 to 2 kb on a memory card. A 16 GB MicroSD card is enough for between 100-200 days of sailing. No configuration is required and if memory runs out, the oldest data is automatically overwritten with new information, so you don't have to worry about running out of memory. Just connect the YDVR-04 to the network and insert a MicroSD card, and all the data will be recorded.

The YDVR-04 is a perfect product for anyone renting out their boat. It's easy to see what happened, when it happened and where it happened. If you have installed motion sensors, you can also see if the boat has run aground.

The YDVR Converter program that comes with the YDVR-04 is installed on a computer and can create GPX and CSV files of the boat's track and detailed sailing information, including weather, depth, engine, nearby AIS targets and more. The GPX file can be viewed with Google Earth, Garmin MapSource and other mapping applications. They can also be loaded into newer plotters. CSV files can be opened with spreadsheet programs such as Excel, Libre Office Calc or Numbers to visualize data and build graphical reports.

YDVR-04 is available in two versions:< /p>
