YACHT DEVICES YDSR-01, is a smart relay used when you have two consumers but only one switch. For example: You mount a combined deck and top light on the mast and only have one two-wire cable in the mast. The relay feeds the first consumer when you turn on the power consumer, and it feeds the second consumer when you turn on/off the power switch twice within one second.
YDSR-01 consists of a bistable RT424F05 relay and consumes only current when a channel changes. Otherwise, it draws less than 0.5mA. It can switch 6-16V loads with continuous current consumption up to 8A with peak 15A (4 seconds, 10% duty). To switch between channels, turn on/off the power switch twice within one second. If one load is to be constantly on, and the other is to be turned on after the fast switching, connect the first load to the incoming current terminal, and the second load to channel 2.
Although the unit is waterproof, the terminals open and sea water can create a short circuit. Do not place the device where it can be flooded with water.
The resistance between the active channels is always 0. The smart switching is controlled by a microprocessor in the device. High voltage (over 16V) can cause permanent damage.
